Marriage is a leap of faith that you will grow together with someone based on a trust that can't be put into words. I know that far after the wedding is over, it’s the two of you on this adventure called ‘life’ and that with all the moments to come, looking back on your beginning can sometimes be the thing get you through. Your wedding will be a great day…the joy, excitement, feminine details, tears, special dances and will be full of portraits that take your breath away. But it won't be the best day ever…believe it or not, I love my husband more than I did when we said I DO. Marriage is a leap of faith that you will grow together with someone based on a trust that can't be put into words.

I don’t take my job lightly and believe it’s not just about taking pretty photos. After being a professional photographer for 9+ years, you would think every wedding is just another gig, right?!? The reality is, I’m truly invested in my couples and their life-long-marriages. I have a deep desire to preserve their beginning, on their first day as husband and wife. Long after the cake has been eaten, the flowers dried, confetti swept up…a little part of me will be there in your story. When your grandchildren see that image of the two of you in that moment, it'll be because I saw it and kept it for them.
And that is why I photograph weddings; because I believe marriage matters.

One of my favourite parts, after you book, is your engagement session! This is the time where we plan an adventure and get to see how you love each other and fit together. I’ll teach you how to be comfortable and get those casual amazing images I know you are looking forward to showing off. Have a fiancee who ‘hates having their picture taken’, not to worry, in no time the nerves will diminish and it will feel like we’re just hangin’ out. After your engagement session, you’ll be featured on my SMP Blog and will be sent your online gallery of images to download and share as you wish.

Once we’re 4 weeks away from your big day, we’ll start making sure we’re completely prepared and ready for your wedding! You’ll receive a questionnaire from me to pass on all the details of your special day. I’ll sketch a timeline for you that will make your day flow well and get you the images you’ve dreamed of. After 9 years of photographing weddings in a magazine-quality manner, I know how to create the perfect timeline for a photography-friendly wedding day.

It’s time to celebrate your love, relax and enjoy as we get to work! I’ll tell your love story even though it’s going to be a blur. I make it a priority to capture the traditional shots that every bride needs while also capturing the moments in between in a creative & unique way. One of my favourite parts of the wedding day is Bride & Groom portraits. After the wedding day, you’ll be feauted on the SMP Blog, showing off your Best Day Ever!!!

After your wedding day is over, you will receive all of your fully-edited memories via online gallery. Hundreds and hundreds of them! I encourage SMP couples to sit down with a glass of wine to view your gallery, reliving your wedding day thru the images. Soon after your gallery is delivered, you will receive your complimentary album design (even if you didn’t order one) and you can begin the customization process.
